$12.95 Franklin the Turtle Clubhouse Adventures Franklin the Turtle and all his friends are ready to lead you on an adventure at their clubhouse. Players must first learn the secret handshake to get in the clubhouse. At the clubhouse there are seven fun learning games and creative activities to play with Franklin, Bear, Beaver, Rabbit and others. Sir Fox needs help at Hide-a-lot Castle. All the animals are dressed up as knights and hiding. Kids help Fox tag the animals as they pop out. This game starts out easy but speeds up as children master the skill. Timing is introduced with level two and level three includes discrimination (animals that should not be tagged). Rabbit is playing detective. Players identify the difference between two pictures to sharpen visual discrimination skills. Levels two and three introduce more differences. Kids earn badges as they complete each level. Snail is in the sandbox digging dinosaur bones. Children must fit bones together to make a dinosaur. When puzzles are complete a picture of the dinosaur appears along with the name. Snail tells about each dinosaur and there are dino cards in the scrapbook for kids to print and share with their friends. Bear is making friendship bracelets and kids can work with patterns in this fun activity. Level one asks kids to copy a bracelet Bear made. On levels two and three kids will complete patterns. The beads have different colors and patterns. Players will also make posters with Franklin and play a fun pirate game with Beaver. Activities have three levels of difficulty to challenge kids as they progress. Players earn badges upon completion of each level. Badges are given for imagination, friendship, cooperation, investigation, courage and discovery. The scrapbook holds all the badges earned plus fun treasure coins, dino cards, hats and friendship bracelets. Kids can print out activities for fun away from the computer. This is an excellent program for kids 4-7. The graphics are spectacular, the characters are charming and the activities are engaging.
